It’s kind of weird but since I have arrived here I haven’t had any great reason to make a big effort with my clothes like I used to in the UK. I think part of it is I have been trying to settle in and I don’t work anymore so that doesn’t dictate what I wear. But I think the real reason has been that I have been waiting for a long time to shed the old and start something new. This week I decided to dress with more care, I have taken extra time over my outfits in the mornings. I don’t have a lot to work with as a lot of my things are back home, but what I do have I have tried to work “it” a little differently. Now, I know they aren’t anything completely off the wall but they are slighty more quirky than what I have been used to. I especially love the denim mini with striped top combo and once it warms up I can lose the leggings!

On another note I have had a superb day. I feel like my weeks of job searching are at an end and I can see things little more clearly. I have made a new friend who has inspired a change and we have some ideas in the pipeline. For the first time in a long time I am really excited about getting stuck into a project for myself…watch this space!
