I have been meaning to make one of these since I arrived but other chores have gotten in the way. So yesterday afternoon I looked up a great recipe from a blog I love called Smitten Kitchen and got to making my Tortilla Espanola. The part that scares me the most is the plate flipping bit – the last time I attempted this, whilst on holiday with Dan, it ended up in a pretty big argument where the tortilla hit all 4 walls of the kitchen and I stomped out.
Thankfully I was alone yesterday and the flipping went well. I love cooking and I am really relishing the fact that I now have my very own kitchen!
If I do say so myself it came out pretty well and it tastes delicious. So good in fact I am going to go have a well-earned slice now.
